Rebuilding Kingfisher brands from their foundations

Kingfisher x Eleven Miles

Rebranding and redefining Kingfisher’s in-house names, to create a more appealing and defined brand offering across their stores.

This project saw Eleven Miles conduct in-depth category research and strategy work across 9 of Kingfisher’s brands, establishing personas, audiences, beliefs, values and more. Once this foundation was in place, the creative and visual elements of the brands were then pieced together including logos, packaging, in-store and digital comms and more.


The full output consisted of full brand and communications guidelines that could be circulated across their 8 regions and into the 1,400 stores including B&Q, Castorama, Brico Dépôt, Screwfix, TradePoint and Koçtaş. With the extensive level of detail, the guides have created a succinct offering across all outputs for each of the nine brands.
