Sideshow Group aim to hit 10,000km for International Rescue Committee

This April, the Eleven Milers are teaming up with Sideshow Group to take on one epic challenge. We’re aiming to raise £15,000 for The International Rescue Committee by collectively covering 10,000km in a 32 hour window.

Running, biking, swimming or hiking…distance can be covered through any form of physical activity – meaning no lifts or bus tickets for this one. With anticipation building for 28th of April, when the 32 hour timer will commence, people from across each of the nine Sideshow Group agencies have been pledging their distances and donations.

While the Challenge offers us a chance to stretch our legs and free our minds, the money being raised is most important. The International Rescue Committee responds to humanitarian crises across the world and is currently providing essential aid to those fleeing the war in Ukraine. By supporting the charity, we hope to enable their brilliant work in Ukraine to continue. Please consider donating through our GoFundMe page – every pound and penny goes a long way.

The Group’s global status means miles will be racked up across multiple continents and at different times of the day. Keep an eye on Strava to monitor our worldwide progress during the 32 hours, from 28th of April at 9.00am to 5pm on the 29th of April (GMT).
